With a focus on effortless, textured cuts and bold, lived-in shapes, Morty is known for creating styles that feel both timeless and modern. Whether it’s soft, wispy fringe, luminous blondes, or cool French girl vibes inspired by Anna Karina, Jane Birkin, and French New Wave cinema, Morty’s work reflects his love for understated elegance and individuality.
Splitting his time between New York and Detroit, Morty brings his signature approach to his clients in Brooklyn at Color i-D and to new clients in Detroit at Village Parlor Salon. His philosophy centers on creating hair that moves and grows beautifully, embodying the wash-and-wear ease his clients love.
